I operate a small yarn shop out of my home located between Barrhead and Westlock. I offer drop-in knitting on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 and Friday mornings from 10-12. Depending on the weather this takes place around my dining room table or on my deck with a pleasant view of the surrounding countryside. 

I am open Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9pm, Fridays from 10-4 and any other time I am at home. From September 15-May 15 I am open the second and fourth Saturday of the month from 9-3pm. I am happy to assist you at other times as I am available. If you are unable to make it during my “guaranteed” hours you are more than welcome to call and arrange a time to come out. This may be as soon as you can get here that day or at a mutually convenient time another day. 

I offer knitting lessons, group or individual, mentoring, and moral support. I am a 3rd or 4th generation knitter and have been knitting as long as I can remember. I have found over the last few years that sharing my love of knitting with others is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done (not near as much as raising great kids, but then somedays not as frustrating either). 

We offer a wide selection of knitting yarns, patterns and accessories. I am always willing to special order products as they are available to me. 

I have a good selection of bamboo needles, circulars, straights, and double pointed all in a variety of sizes. I also have a good selection of Chia Goo steel circulars in a variety of sizes. All of the circulars have very nice cords that soften easily and are very nice to work with.

I carry pattern books from Sirdar, Mira Sol, Noro, Aslan Trends, Ella Rae and some of Cat Bordhi’s books. I also carry a variety of leaflets from Sirdar , Fibre Trends, Lucy Neatby, Two Old Bags and others. I am always willing to try and fill special requests. 

Mail order service is available. For orders over $50.00 shipping within Alberta by regular post is covered, over $100.00 outside Alberta, but within Canada.
